Winter Extravaganza 2009

Danse Arts Company is proud to announce their partnership with the Chesterfield Community Theater-West County YMCA for our Fourth Annual Winter Extravaganza.  This performance is like non other in town, and raises money for both participating nonprofit organizations.  A family friendly event that keeps all ages engaged and having a fabulous time.  It is a wonderful way to kick of the holiday season for everyone!

Danse Arts Company presents a three act performance that starts at "Santa's Workshop" with elves, dolls, and reindeer,  then celebrate the season with "Winter Bells", and end on a journey through "Ice and Snow" to the "Land of Sweets" with Nutcracker favorites.  Our pre-professional dance company members range in age from 8 years old-18 years old.  We offer an evening of song, dance, and drama for the whole family.  This years production features a new acrobatic Arabian piece choreographed by instructor Lorianne Hagan, special guests Traci Washington and Fernando Borego doing a return perofrmance of a contemporary duet choreographed by Artistic Director Leah Cordiano-Siemens, a solo by instructor Laura Livingston, a lyrical hip hop trip including instructor Rondell Spears (aka 'Duck'), and some more surprises along the way!   Choreographers:  Leah Cordiano-Siemens, Katie McMasters, Debbie Devine, Laura Livingston, Rondell Spears, Lorianne Hagan, Traci Washington-Borrego, and Janet Strukely.  We look forward to another holiday season filled with Wonder, Joy, and Enchantment!
